The Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS) is pleased to be supporting the Ground Engineering Marine Geotechnics conference, which is being held Thursday, 26th March 2020 at Inmarsat, London, where the FPS Chair, Philip Hines, will be presenting.
With the marine sector, both on and nearshore, offering a wide array of future opportunities for the geotechnical industry these projects come with unique challenges for engineers and new technology and techniques are pushing what is possible in ground investigation and geotechnical design. The FPS presentation ‘What does good look like in foundation works for the marine geotechnics sector?’ should be well received.
The event will bring together project managers, directors and senior engineers, involved in offshore and nearshore projects, to share best practice from technical case studies and discuss how technology will shape the design and delivery of future marine assets. The conference is being developed to be a unique and informative event, which will give ground engineers operating in this market the marine knowledge and contacts to succeed in this technically challenging sector.
As the programme takes shape more information will be posted on the Marine Geotechnics conference website – https://marine.geplus.co.uk/
