The Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS) is pleased to announce that Paul Marsden of Keller has agreed to deliver a presentation to the FPS Early Career Group (ECG) on the interesting topic of “Grouting processes with examples of their application”.
The presentation will take place Thursday 25th June 2020 at 4pm and will be approximately one hour in duration.
Paul is highly qualified to deliver the presentation being a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has also amassed over 26 years of broad geotechnical, civil and environmental engineering experience, as well as managed all aspects of the construction process from estimating, design and technical development, through to handover and post-completion, including major projects in the UK and abroad.
Paul is also a core Team Member of Keller’s Global Product Team for grouting processes, representing Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South America. The Global Product Team promotes working with international colleagues to focus on sharing product-specific knowledge quickly around the world, to aid the development of market-leading technologies and solutions.
The meeting will be held online via Microsoft Teams and an invite to the ECG will be sent out in due course. For those that are unable to attend, the presentation will be made available shortly afterwards, with a link to it can be obtained by emailing David Major (DaMajor@expandedltd.com) who leads the ECG.
At a later date, there are also plans to hold a session on the importance of quality ground investigation and the design stages of a project, by Tony Suckling from A-Squared. This was an area the ECG has debated in the first two meetings and Tony is very keen to get this message out. Because of the nature of the topic, this would be a face-to-face session once social distancing allows and would allow members from A-squared to network with the Early Career group.
