Well done to everybody who dusted off their clubs and ironed their plus fours, to take part in this year’s Federation of Piling Specialist (FPS) Golf Day, which took place on Wednesday 11th September, at Nottinghamshire Golf Course and Country Club.

A tremendously competitive day, with the Overall Team Winners being Team 15 – Van Elle – with 100 points. Other Winners on the day were:

– Overall Team Runner Up – Team 7, Roger Bullivant, with 99 points
– Overall Individual Award – Scott Mills of Van Elle, with 46 points
– Longest Drive – won by Alex Bullock of Keller
– Nearest the Pin Award – Stuart Norman of Keltbray
– Nearest Pin in 2 Award – Phil Hines of Bachy – who donated his prize to raise money for charity

The “Frequently Poor Shot Award” was taken by Andrew O’ Donovan of Bam Ritchies, who finished on a commendable 8 points!
